Nominees for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences awards were announced on February 12th. The 74rd annual Academy Awards will be presented on Sunday, March 24th, 2002 at the Kodak Theater at the Hollywood & Highland complex in Los Angeles), and broadcast live on the ABC television network at 5:00 p.m. (PST) / 8:00 p.m. (EST), with a half-hour arrivals segment preceding the presentation ceremony.
